The floral umbel is a rather "congested" knot of short tubular flowers. Easy to grow and quite hardy.

A Californian genus close toTriteleia and Brodiaea. Late in development and flowering, but therefore quite hardy. Humidity during the dormancy period will cause rotting of the basal plate.
