Tulbaghia violacea Silver Lace

Its growth habit and habitat resembles those of Agapanthus and can be very complementary with this genus. Because of its evergreen foliage and long flowering period, Tulbaghia is becoming a widely used border plant in the milder areas. But with some precautions can also be grown successfully in colder areas. Can be transplanted almost through the year (except during July and August). 'Silver Lace' has the same caracteristics as the type but its foliage a a silvery grey with a white lining. This selection is sterile, less vigurous and less hardy than the species.
