Arum italicum ‘BlackSpotted

Spathe pale green 15-25cm long spadix 10-25cm long. Leaves sagittate-hastate, lightly blotched with darkspots. Leaves showed multiple black spots.
The genus
The genus has about 25 species covering most of Europe, Africa and East to West China. With the exception of A. pictum all bloom in spring or early summer. Most will grow quite well outdoors in a full to partly shade site, but avoid hot locations. Once planted they are happy for a long time and will not wander except by seed.
