Eremurus tauricus
Its is the only Eremurus orginzting from a mediterraean region. Smaller then the usual species. Well adapted for gardening in the south.

From a cluster of tuberous roots neatly arranged in a starshaped fashion, appears late winter a rosette of basal leaves. Their original habitat is rocky semi desert grassland in mountainous regions of central Asia.
