Narcissus ‘Chinata’

Category photo (no photo of its own for this entry)
The name 'Chinata' associated with this entry probably refers to a localised selection or provenance of a wild Iberian daffodil, without a certain botanical identification being possible. For guidance, the wild daffodils of the Iberian Peninsula most often belong to the sections Bulbocodium or Jonquilla, small bulbous perennials with narrow foliage and yellow trumpet or saucer-shaped flowers, flowering from winter to spring depending on altitude. Like most of these species, it requires well-drained soil, a sunny position and a dry summer dormancy.
