Freesia elimentis

Available information on Freesia elimensis, a delicately flowering wild South African freesia, remains limited in the sources consulted. This species grows on sandy flats and open slopes of the Western Cape, South Africa, flowering during the cooler months. Its trumpet-shaped flowers, cream to pale pastel yellow, with smooth, flaring petals, open gradually along the stem and give off a light, pleasant fragrance typical of the genus. Like other Freesia, it requires well-drained sandy soil and a sunny position, with a dry summer rest.
