Cirrico…rethim… guttata T……

Category photo (no photo of its own for this entry)
The label "Cirrico...rethim... guttata" is too corrupted to be confidently matched to a specific species, but it points to the genus Cirrhopetalum (now included within Bulbophyllum), which contains several species with the epithet "guttata" or "guttulata". The description below therefore applies to this group in general: small epiphytic orchids with closely spaced pseudobulbs and a single leathery leaf, producing umbel-like inflorescences of narrow flowers, often spotted purple on a pale background, arranged in the characteristic fan typical of section Cirrhopetalum. Grown in baskets or mounted, in a very free-draining medium, under light shade, with high atmospheric humidity. Species not confirmed; description given at genus level.
