Liriope sp? feuille large

The exact species of this Liriope could not be confirmed; it is likely a broad-leaved form close to Liriope muscari. The genus, native to East Asia and belonging to the Asparagaceae, comprises tufted perennials with fibrous or tuberous roots, forming clumps of evergreen, strap-shaped, arching, grass-like foliage. In broad-leaved forms, the glossy dark green blades can reach up to 1 cm wide. In late summer and autumn, upright spikes of small violet or white flowers appear in tiered whorls, followed by blackish berries that often persist through winter. Easy to grow in ordinary soil, in part shade to shade.
