Placea ornata?

Placea ornata is a bulbous Amaryllidaceae endemic to Chile, growing among scrub on summits and steep slopes at mid elevations, in the coastal range and Andean foothills, on rocky clay soils. The genus Placea, distinguished by a short staminal corona, is characterised by simple, fairly broad leaves. In P. ornata, the scape reaches about 30 cm and bears yellow, six-tepalled flowers. Flowering occurs in spring, followed by complete summer dormancy. The exact identity of this accession remains to be confirmed, as the species has sometimes been treated as a synonym of Phycella ornata. Grow in well-drained soil, in a sunny position.
