Ledebouria sp1??

The exact species of this Ledebouria could not be determined; the following description is given at genus level. Ledebouria comprises more than sixty bulbous species in the subfamily Scilloideae, the great majority native to sub-Saharan Africa, with one or two species in India and Madagascar; the greatest diversity occurs in the summer-rainfall savannas and grasslands of Limpopo and Mpumalanga, South Africa. The bulbs, often partly exposed above ground, bear fleshy leaves that are variegated or mottled with purple spots depending on the species. Small star-shaped flowers, green, pink or purplish, are borne in racemes in spring or summer. Grow in well-drained soil, in a bright position, with a dry winter dormancy.
