Narcissus minicycla

The name Minicycla denotes a horticultural group of dwarf daffodils raised from crosses between Narcissus asturiensis and Narcissus cyclamineus, two Iberian botanical species, first bred in the early 20th century. Their bulbs produce narrow foliage and a short stem bearing a nodding or right-angled, golden-yellow flower with a narrow, reflexed perianth and a cylindrical corona, often constricted and lobed. Flowering occurs in early spring. It requires a sunny to part-shaded position, cool, humus-rich, well-drained soil, and a rest period after flowering.
