Haworthia cymbifomis

Haworthia cymbiformis (sometimes misspelled cymbifomis) is a stemless succulent native to the Eastern Cape, South Africa, growing on rocky slopes along rivers from Port Elizabeth to East London. The epithet "cymbiformis" ("boat-shaped") refers to its fleshy, pale green leaves striped with dark green, curving inward to a translucent tip. The rosette, up to 8 cm in diameter, offsets freely to form clumps. From spring to early summer it bears tubular, white to very pale pink flowers veined with greenish brown. It thrives in filtered light, well-drained soil, and a moderate winter rest.
