Oxalis perdicaria

Native to central Chile, eastern Argentina and southern Brazil, where it grows in moist grassland, Oxalis perdicaria is a bulbous perennial in the family Oxalidaceae. It forms compact clumps of bright green, clover-like trifoliate leaves, which die down in spring and reappear in late summer and autumn together with the flowers. These are funnel-shaped, lemon to bright yellow, and lightly honey-scented. Flowering occurs from September to October in the Southern Hemisphere. It grows well in full sun and well-drained soil, with bulbs typically planted in early summer as they break dormancy early.
