Barlia is a monotypic genus of Mediterranean terrestrial orchids, now reclassified by botanists within the genus Himantoglossum as Himantoglossum robertianum. This robust orchid forms a rosette of broad, glossy leaves and a dense spike of large, fragrant flowers ranging from dark pink to greenish white, from late winter onward. As the exact species is not specified for this item, this description remains at genus level: it grows in well-drained, calcareous soil, in sun to part shade.
