Oxalis commutata

Oxalis commutata is a small South African bulbous species, winter-growing like most Cape oxalis. It produces fine trifoliate foliage topped by yellow funnel-shaped flowers on short stalks, opening in late winter and early spring. Discreet but free-flowering, it suits rockeries and container growing. It needs a sunny position, well-drained soil, regular watering during its growing season, and a dry rest period through summer dormancy.
