Crocus imperati 'De Jager' (Iridaceae) is a garden selection of Crocus imperati developed by the Dutch bulb house P. De Jager & Sons. It is distinguished by large, fragrant flowers, purple-violet inside and pale buff striped with dark purple outside, with orange stamens and stigmas, opening from late winter into early spring above narrow, silver-striped leaves. Grow in full sun, in light, well-drained soil; hardy to about -15°C, in a sheltered, sunny position.
