Tulipa hageri

Tulipa hageri is a botanical tulip native to Turkey and Greece, in the Liliaceae family, valued for its coppery to brownish-red flowers, often marked with a dark base. Low-growing, it flowers early in spring and is well suited to sunny rockeries. It is planted in autumn in well-drained soil, and benefits from a dry summer, essential for good regrowth.
