Narcissus double

Category photo (no photo of its own for this entry)
"Double" daffodils form a horticultural group within the genus Narcissus (Amaryllidaceae), characterised by flowers with multiplied petals that partially or fully replace the central cup, in white, yellow or bicoloured tones. Flowering occurs in spring. Like other daffodils, they are planted in autumn in well-drained soil, in sun to part shade, and suit beds, borders and cut flowers, though the heavier blooms can be more sensitive to bad weather.
