Scilla cilicica
Flowering on 2 to 3 stems, each bearing 8 to 12 florets of a deep cobalt blue (2.5 cm diam.). Its very early flowering requires a sheltered position. Flower production improves gradually when the bulbs are left in place for several years, especially when planted in the open ground.
