He’llo,
We have not seen this here since 1985: During the months of December and January the weather was warm and sunny. Narcissis, Iris, Crocus Cyclamen kniphofia etc were in full flower. Suddenly temperatures went down to -7° re enforced with a violent northern wind (le Mistral) without a protecting snow cover, many leaves were scorced, (not to speak of the flowers).
But we remain optimistique, next week the frost willl be gone, many leaves will retake their forms, others will dry up. But soon new growth will appear and and new flowerbuds will appear to give massif flowering in March to catch up for time lost.
Of course shipping has been halted and will pick up again towards the end of next week (16-17/02)
Our second edition of "Guide pour bulbes méditerranéens" is with the printer and should be available inext March
But for the time being keep warm
Lauw et Joelle de Jager
