Gladiolus Flevo hybr

'Flevo' is a series of horticultural Gladiolus nanus hybrids, dwarf gladioli bred for their compact habit and colourful spikes, with no single traceable wild parent species. The tunicated corm produces narrow, sword-shaped leaves and a 30–60 cm flowering stem that generally needs no staking, bearing a spike of brightly, often contrastingly coloured flowers. Flowering occurs in summer. It requires full sun and well-drained soil, and in cold climates the corms should be lifted in autumn for frost-free winter storage.
