Narcissus 'Actaea' is a cultivar of the poet's daffodil (Narcissus poeticus), a bulbous plant in the Amaryllidaceae family. It is distinguished by its broad, pure white petals and small, richly fragrant yellow cup edged in red. Flowering occurs in late spring, later than most daffodils. Hardy and easy to grow, it is planted in autumn in well-drained soil, in sun to part shade, and naturalises well in meadows.
