‘Albiflorus’

Agapanthus praecox 'Albiflorus' is the white-flowered form of the South African agapanthus. Like the species, it forms an evergreen clump of supple strap-shaped leaves, from which tall stems rise in summer bearing broad umbels of pure white, funnel-shaped flowers. A bright addition to the garden, it grows best in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerating drought once established, though it is not reliably hardy through harsh winters in open ground.
