Albuca BB sp2 rupestris?

This accession of the genus Albuca (Asparagaceae) is likely close to Albuca rupestris, though the identification is not confirmed. Native to KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa, where it grows in rocky, sandy soils of grasslands and scrubland, this bulbous plant forms low, sometimes mat-forming clumps of long, narrow, grey-green leaves. The unbranched flowering stem bears striped, star-shaped white to yellow-green flowers typical of the genus. Flowering occurs in spring and summer. Cultivation requires very free-draining soil, a sunny position, and a pronounced dry dormancy outside the growing season.
