Albuca namaquense?’Aughrabies hills’

Pending confirmation, this plant corresponds to Albuca namaquensis (Asparagaceae, formerly Hyacinthaceae), native to rocky slopes in Namibia and South Africa, including the Augrabies region that gives the clone 'Aughrabies Hills' its name. The summer-dormant bulb produces fine, glabrous leaves in a tousled tuft and a 20-30 cm stem bearing, from November to March, a loose cluster of 3-5 pendent, white to greenish-yellow flowers with a delicate vanilla scent. Grow in full sun, in sandy, well-drained soil, with reduced watering during dormancy.
