Crinum × powellii 'Album' (Amaryllidaceae) is the white-flowered form of this hybrid between C. bulbispermum and C. moorei, two South African species, and one of the hardiest crinums in cultivation. It forms a clump of long, strap-shaped leaves and produces, in summer, an umbel of large, fragrant, pure white trumpet flowers on a sturdy stem. Grow in full sun, in rich, moist, well-drained soil; hardy to around -10 °C with good winter mulch.
