Amaryllis belladonna Rose foncé, (extra tardive)

A very vigorous cultivar with various shades of dark pink with a white center. Interesting because of its late flowering. Very large bulbs. We contune to sell the bulbs after flowering until the leaves emerge.
The genus
The true amaryllis: dormant during the summermonths; suddenly, towards the end of the summer, the tall flowering scapes appear which bears a bouquet of fragrant trumpets. To be used in background against shrubs or in larger dry rockeries. In colder regions chose a warm sheltered position and protect the bulbs by a mulch. During heavy frosts protect the leaves with horticultural fleece. Flowering improves as the plants are established. Very suitable for cutflowers.
