Oxalis ambigua

Oxalis ambigua is a small bulbous species native to South Africa, related to the winter-growing oxalis group of the Cape region. It forms a low tuft of trifoliate leaves topped by funnel-shaped flowers, usually pink to mauve, carried on short stalks. Like most South African oxalis, it grows through winter and flowers toward the end of that season before resting through summer. It is grown in pots or in the open ground, in a sunny position on well-drained soil, with reduced watering during its dormant phase.
