Arum creticum
A TRADUIRE Les fleurs sont d'élégantes spaths blanc-crème qui sortent du feuillage. À cultiver dans l'ombre, sec en été, humide mais bien drainé en hiver. Se naturalise en sous-bois dont il éclairera les coins sombres avec son feuillage luxuriant et ses jolies baies rouges en fin d'été.
The genus
The genus has about 25 species covering most of Europe, Africa and East to West China. With the exception of A. pictum all bloom in spring or early summer. Most will grow quite well outdoors in a full to partly shade site, but avoid hot locations. Once planted they are happy for a long time and will not wander except by seed.
