This species is not reliably documented in available sources; description here is given at the genus level. Bellevalia (Asparagaceae) comprises about fifty bulbous perennials from southern Europe and western Asia, growing on rocky slopes and dry grassland. The tunicated bulbs produce basal, strap-shaped, green to grey-green leaves and an erect scape bearing a dense raceme of small, six-lobed, bell-shaped flowers ranging from violet-blue to white depending on the species. Flowering occurs in spring. Grow in full sun with well-drained soil and a dry summer dormancy.
