Tulipa chrysantha, often treated as Tulipa montana, is a dwarf botanical tulip native to Iran and Turkmenistan, in the Liliaceae family. It produces small, golden-yellow flowers tinged with red on the outside of the petals, on a short stem, early in spring. Well suited to rockeries thanks to its low habit, it is planted in autumn in well-drained, sunny soil, with a dry summer rest.
