Clivia miniata




C. miniata is the most common species and can be found in many forms and hybrids.
The genus
A very popular woodplant originating from the eastern part of South Africa. As Clivia does not require much light, it has become a very popular houseplant which can be put outside in the shade during the summer. It supports only very light frosts and can only be grown in the open ground in coastal areas.
