Eremurus a general



Grows on sandy welldrained banks in the NW Himalaya. A very early flowering species with 150cm tall spikes with a 60 cm long inflorescence of white flowers, particularly suitable for the warmer regions.
The genus
From a cluster of tuberous roots neatly arranged in a starshaped fashion, appears late winter a rosette of basal leaves. Their original habitat is rocky semi desert grassland in mountainous regions of central Asia.
