Ferraria crispa crispa/50

The potato like corm forms a substantial plant which produces a series of starshaped flowers with various shades of brown fringed petals with a discrete and agreable perfume.
Specialàffer this summer with a size of corms 5-8cm circ.
The genus
An early flowering, hypnotising and mysterious beauty from South Africa. The corms have a tuberlike appearance and may remain active for several years thus forming a string of superimposed corms. Because of its early development, to be planted in sheltered warm expositions. Should be planted before the middle of september, otherwise the corm might go dormant for a whole year.
