Geissorhiza delicatula

Native to sandstone outcrops of the Swartberg Mountains, South Africa, Geissorhiza delicatula is a tiny, 3-8 cm Iridaceae (rarely more than 5 cm), with narrow leaves lying flat on the ground. It produces small white flowers suffused with lilac from August to December. Closely related to Geissorhiza bracteata, it is distinguished by a shorter floral tube. It requires well-drained, stony soil and a sunny position.
