Hemerocallis 'Stella d'Oro' is a daylily cultivar bred in the United States in 1975, one of the most popular dwarf reblooming daylilies. It forms a compact clump of arching, strap-like leaves 25 to 35 cm tall, above which scapes carry gold-yellow, ruffled-edged trumpet flowers about 7 cm across, lightly fragrant. Each flower lasts only a day but is continuously replaced from late spring until the first frosts. Hardy and undemanding, it tolerates most well-drained soils, thrives in full sun, and withstands drought well once established.
