Hyacinthus orientalis ‘Villa Petraya’ — jacinthe
This is the original botanical hyacinth which comes from the eastern Mediterranean. Its pale blue sweetly scented flowers appear in February. In a half shaded position dry in the summer, this species will persist long time and spread by seed. This form, found close to Florence (Italy) has more flowers and the leaves are narrower .
