Iris 'Imperial Bronze' is a cultivar of the spuria iris group, forming an upright clump of dark green linear foliage that can reach 1.1 m in height. Its golden-brown flowers with a yellow throat open in June and July on sturdy stems. Valued as cut flowers, they also suit cottage-style beds and pondside plantings. This hardy iris is grown in full sun, in ordinary to fertile soil, and tolerates frost well in winter.
