Iris regelio-oncocyclus ‘Dardanus’ — Aril hybrids

An exceptionel offer in the form of a hybrid between I. korolkowii (section Regelia) and I. iberica (section Oncocyclus). The interesting result is a tuberous rootstock which produces a dark veined oncocyclus type flower. The blue grey leaves are 15cm high and disappear during the summer dormancy. Summer drought and good winter drainage is essential. Dardanus, the founder of Théopolis, was said to be the last Roman of the Provence as well as the first hero provencal.
