Iris korolkowii, the redvein iris, is an iris of the Regelia section native to the mountains of Central Asia (Tian Shan, Pamir, Altai) and Afghanistan. Narrow, grey-green, sword-shaped leaves accompany a slender stem bearing two to three cream, white or pale purple flowers, finely veined with maroon or dark purple. Flowering occurs in spring. It needs very free-draining soil, full sun, and a completely dry summer rest, like most Central Asian irises.
