Libertia ixioides



Loose spikes are composed of 3-8 white flowers wit 3 oval petales. Meditplant forum (January 2002): "I vividly remember the spectacular sight of Libertia in a long border beside a tennis court in a countryhouse garden in Co. Cork in Southern Ireland which in May and June each year is one continuous dazzling sheet of white."
The genus
A genus of 20 species originally found in the southern hemisphere. The evergeen leaves a rigid and liniar, those situated on the flower spike are smaller and placed apart.
