Libertia peregrinans

"L. peregrina is a creeping plant found in damp hollows among sand dunes. Needs a warm sunny position to flower well. Well-established clumps often show 2 -3 spikes with creamy white flowers. The decorative orangy/yellow seedcapsules are born on leafless stems. The same orange colour is found on the midrib and the tip of the leaves which gives the plant a very decorative aspect, which shows off particularly well in dry sunny conditions

The genus

A genus of 20 species originally found in the southern hemisphere. The evergeen leaves a rigid and liniar, those situated on the flower spike are smaller and placed apart.
