Lilium ‘Le reve »

Lilium 'Le Rêve' is an Oriental lily cultivar (Oriental hybrid group, derived in particular from L. speciosum and L. auratum), marketed under this evocative name for its large, scented, deep pink flowers, with a yellow-green centre and prominent stamens, sometimes nicknamed “pink Stargazer”. Like other Oriental lilies, it is a geophyte with a scaly bulb, with a sturdy stem 80 to 120 cm tall bearing lance-shaped foliage, flowering in summer. It requires free-draining, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil, and a sunny to half-shaded position, with the bulbs planted deeply to protect the stem roots.
