Lilium ‘Le reve »

Lilium 'Le Rêve' is an Oriental hybrid lily cultivar (derived largely from L. speciosum and L. auratum), sold under this evocative name for its large, fragrant, deep pink flowers with a yellow-green centre and prominent stamens, sometimes nicknamed "pink Stargazer". Like other Oriental lilies, it is a scaly-bulbed geophyte, with a sturdy stem 80 to 120 cm tall bearing lance-shaped leaves, flowering in summer. It requires well-drained, humus-rich, slightly acidic soil and a sunny to partly shaded position, with bulbs planted deep to protect the stem roots.
