Melasphærula ramosa
Melasphærula ramosa, as its name indicates, has small "black balls" like bulbs. The plant looks very much like a Freesia with the difference that the thin and airy ramified infloresence bears many small creamy flowers with purple markings. Grows very easily in a sheltered position where it can even become invasive. In 2013 we got new stock: more flowers with a yellowish gloss, which makes this species more interesting.
