Narcissus juncifolius assoanus

Narcissus assoanus, long known as N. juncifolius (or N. requienii), is a small bulbous jonquil growing on limestone in rocky meadows of southern France and eastern Spain, with an apparently naturalised population in Turkey. It reaches 15 cm in height, with very narrow, rush-like, deep green leaves — the source of its former name. The flowers are entirely yellow, with short, bluntly pointed perianth segments surrounding a cup less than half their length, and carry a lemony scent. Flowering occurs from late winter into spring. Grow in well-drained soil, in full sun, with a dry summer dormancy.
