Narcissus romieuxii romieuxii
The flower segments are strangely blown up at the bus stage which makles it look like a Physalis. Yellow green corona bordered with crimson red./
The genus
Narcissus mainly comes from the mountains in Southern Europe and the Mediterranean region. From the enormous range of hybrids and cultivars only a very limited selection is presented. Our choice, determined by their ability to persist in a mediterranean garden, is mainly directed to the botanical species and the tazetta group. As the roots of most species are persistent, Narcissus bulbs benefit of being left undisturbed for several years.
