Narcissus willkommii (sometimes spelled "wilkomii") is a small wild daffodil species native to Spain, related to the jonquil group (Narcissus jonquilla), and considered threatened in the wild. It is a slender, low-growing bulbous plant whose fine, cylindrical leaves accompany a stem bearing several small, strongly fragrant, golden-yellow flowers. It flowers in spring and thrives in a warm, sunny position, where its fragrance develops fully. It grows on well-drained soil, in pots or in the ground in mild climates, with the dry summer dormancy typical of Mediterranean daffodils.
