Ornithogalum sintenisii
Asmall species simiar to O. umbellatum, but does not produce many bulblets, thusis not invasive.
The genus
The genus consists mainly of winter-growing species from Europe, the Near East and South Africa which are available for planting during the summer and autumn. A few evergreen or winter-dormant species come from the eastern part of South Africa which are presented in our winterplanting catalog. Flowers are very often white with a green median line arranged in a raceme (though some south African species are yellow or orange).
