Oxalis articulata f. crassipes alba

This oxalis is a common garden plant in the south of France. In optimal situations it makes a superb clump of many pink flowers. The 'bulbs' are thick roostocks which after serveral years become an entangled mass of roots, but does not become invasive.
The genus
Oxalis is a very large genus , especially known by its invasive weedy species. However, the species presented make excellent and attractive container plants. When referring to an invasive species we will surely draw your attention to it. A large number of Oxalis species from South Africa that could be described as 'shrubby.'
