Proiphys amboniensis plus petits)?

Like Proiphys amboinensis, this entry refers to a form described as smaller-growing, of this species native to Southeast Asia and northern Australia. A bulbous plant in the Amaryllidaceae family, it produces broad, rounded leaves on long petioles arising from an underground bulb. A flowering stem bears an umbel of 5 to 25 fragrant, white, trumpet-shaped flowers in summer. After flowering, the foliage yellows and dies back. It grows well in partial shade, in rich, well-drained soil, with a dry winter rest period.
